Guide To The Spanish Language
An introduction to Spanish without the grammar - A new and fresh perspective with some interesting items on
language and the similarities between Spanish and English
If we are to invest a lot of time and study in learning a language then we really
want see good results and preferably sooner rather than later. An important component of competence in language is verbal memory and recall. We have
to commit many words and phrases to memory; parrot fashion. It is therefore useful to have some tips that will help us commit words to memory. There has
been a lot of study on the subject of memory and the most efficient ways of getting information into our brains in such a way that we are able to recall it
when we need to. They say that everything we see and hear goes in, the
problem is not in storing the information but in recalling it when we need to.
Some schools of thought go much further and claim that we have stored information from before we were born and this memory can be accessed
under hypnosis and past life regression therapy.
In terms of recalling words when we need them it is useful if we store them in categories; that is when we are learning new words we should group them in
relevant categories. This will make it easier to recall those words when we need them.
