Guide To The Spanish Language
An introduction to Spanish without the grammar - A new and fresh perspective with some interesting items on
language and the similarities between Spanish and English
Most Spanish courses and instruction focus on “Castellano” and are of course
concerned with grammar and in general do not discuss the various other interesting aspects of language as a general topic. In fact the other elements
of language, as a separate subject, as discussed here, are normally not even mentioned. I think that without having due considerations for all the other
features of language, which make it a very interesting and complex subject, we start off with a false perception of the task ahead.
This misconceived premise is all too often the seed of failure and future disappointment.
I believe that by understanding the various other elements of studying Spanish and leaving the grammar aside we can have more fun and a much
improved attitude to whole subject. Let’s think about the interesting parts of
language, build a basic Spanish vocabulary and phrase list and start using it. We can perfect our technique and improve our grammar later.
