Valle Romano is a purpose built luxury golf resort which is located in
Estepona.
The villas and apartments that surround the golf resort are beautiful and the
area is a favourite of many football stars. Valle Romano has made itself into a
tight nit community and has everything the visitor needs to enjoy their stay.
Main Tourist Attractions
The major attraction here is the golf! Keen golfers can enjoy a couple of rounds
on the 18 hole championship course, which has been endorsed by the famous
player, Seve Ballesteros. Other sporting facilities available include tennis
courts, volleyball courts, football pitches and gymnasiums. There is also a spa
and a beauty centre to relax in and be pampered. The resort has its own theatre,
library and museum. A short trip to Estepona will find a lovely sandy beach,
where watersports such as jet skiing, sailing and diving can be found. There is
also a bullring homed here which has four museums for visitors to enjoy. Nearby
Puerto Banus
has a large marina, a marine observatory and a multiplex cinema.
Shopping Opportunities
Valle Romano has its own shops in its designated commercial area. Here you will
find a range of items including clothes, shoes, bags, sunglasses, jewellery,
perfume, watches and souvenirs. Estepona offers the Calle Real and the Calle
Terraza for shopping. There are family run businesses and boutiques that offer
clothing, electrical goods, arts & crafts, ornate linen, pottery, fine art and
gifts.
Marbella’s Golden Mile
is a short distance away from the resort for those
who need to splash the cash. The Golden Mile is famed for its designer clothing
boutiques.
Eating Out and Nightlife
Being a well equipped community, Valle Romano has a range of restaurants, cafés
and bars for guests to eat and drink. They serve the traditional Spanish meals
as well as tapas and local beers. You will find a few eateries which serve
international dishes for the more discerning palate. Estepona has a range of
establishments situated by its small marina. A short journey to either Marbella
or Puerto Banus will present even more mouth-watering opportunities.
Evenings in the resort are a fairly subdued affair as there are no discos and
nightclubs. You could enjoy a performance at the theatre and then dine out in
one of the fabulous restaurants. Estepona has a few discos and clubs for those
who need to dance the night away. Puerto Banus also offers the chance to try
your luck against the House in its beautiful casino.
